Cambridge, Mass. (April
1, 2004) — Delphi Technology, Inc. (DTI), the leading
provider of technology solutions to the professional liability insurance market, announced
today that Global Insurance Management Company, LLC (GIMC) has purchased DTI’s OASIS
Policy, Financial, Claims, and Risk Management software.
GIMC, headquartered in Florida and Kentucky, is the management company for the
professional liability companies Healthcare Underwriters Group of Florida and Healthcare
Underwriters Group of Kentucky. Both of the insurance companies are owned by the
physicians of their respective states.
GIMC plans to have 10 users on the OASIS system between offices in Dania, Florida, and
Louisville, Kentucky. The GIMC medical malpractice insurance companies have 20 employees
who are expected to support 800-1200 medical professional liability policies per year.
Currently, the implementation team is planning a six-month deployment process.
The GIMC companies, Healthcare Underwriters Group of Florida and Healthcare Underwriters
Group of Kentucky, are rapidly-growing doctor-owned insurance companies. The companies
were created to address the medical malpractice insurance crisis in their respective
states and provide reliable, affordable protection for their policyholder-owners.

GIMC’s management team indicated that they found OASIS to have the most comprehensive
and mature functionality on the market. As a newly formed company, they also wanted to tap
into DTI’s extensive industry knowledge and use the same technology as the industry
