Boston, Mass.   (August 9, 2000)Delphi Technology Inc.(DTI), a leading provider of information technology to the field of risk and insurance, announced today the appointment of Peter Rousmaniere as Director of Business Development. 

Rousmaniere, a consultant to insurers and employers on disability management and insurance operations, will occupy the newly created position immediately. He will work out of both DTI's corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA, and the offices of Rousmaniere Designs, a consulting practice in Little Rock, AR. He will lead DTI's business development activities as well as build a consulting service for DTI clients..

"He is internationally recognized for his contributions to the workers compensation arena, including service benchmarking and training. Peter is a valuable addition to our leadership team."

Rousmaniere, 55, holds a BA and MBA from Harvard University. In the 1980s and 1990s he helped to found and lead Lynch Ryan and Healthcare First, two New England-based workers compensation cost containment firms. His consulting clients have included workers compensation insurers in the United States, Canada and Australia, as well as major employers in the United States. Rousmaniere is a widely known lecturer on best practices in disability management, and has authored numerous articles. He is co-creator of the Annual Survey on Workers Compensation Managed Care Performance, published by the Journal of Workers Compensation.
