(Valencia, CA, March 20, 2000) – Michigan Construction Industry Mutual Insurance Company (MCIM), on November 8, 1999, successfully moved into production on GenCOMP for WindowsTM (GCFW) GenSource’s latest version on their 32-bit client/server workers’ compensation claims administration system.

MCIM chose GenSource because GCFW is the risk management industry’s most function rich 32-bit client/server claims administration system, and provides proven workflow enhancements to improve productivity. GCFW uses standard TCP/IP network protocols enabling seamless distribution across a company’s Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and/or the Internet. GCFW has been designed to Microsoft Windows 95/98 standards, incorporates Microsoft WordTM, and utilizes an Informix database on either AIXTM (UNIX) or Windows NT ServerTM operating systems.

GenSource provided MCIM not only with state of the art software, but also complete installation, customization, conversion, and training services. According to Judy Gibbons, MCIM Vice President, "GenSource takes a very comprehensive approach to implementing a new system, making sure that all tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined." "The combination of GCFW’s robust feature set and GenSource’s tailored installation services delivers a hard to beat claims solution; to put it simply, we love GenSource!" said Eleanor Powell, President and CEO of MCIM.

"We are proud to have a client as respected as MCIM using the GCFW system. MCIM is a growing, high-quality company and a perfect environment to showcase GCFW’s many state-of-the-art capabilities", said John Carolan, Director of Sales & Marketing at GenSource. The GCFW system combines claims administration, case management, bill repricing, EDI, and a workflow management system into a single, user-friendly, Windows system. "Users of the popular Microsoft Windows 95/98 operating system praise the ease of use of GCFW", added Mr. Carolan.
