JW Software, Inc. Annouces Two Additions to Their Suite of File Handler Risk Management Products

Atlanta, GA, RIMS Conference and Exposition, April 30, 2001 – JW Software, Inc., a privately owned maker of claims administration software, is announcing two new additions to their suite of File HandlerÒ risk management products: File Handler 5.0 and filehandler.com.  

File Handler 5.0, a client-server based claims administration system replaces and upgrades File Handler 4.0, JW Software Inc.’s previous release in 1999.  Using the feature-rich File Handler 4.0 as a platform, File Handler 5.0 incorporates several additional pieces of functionality such as a more diverse hierarchical structure, increased reporting capabilities for financial data, and additional, enhanced lines of business such as Auto, GL, and P&C. 

filehandler.com, a browser-based claims administration system which mirrors the functionality found in the feature rich, newly released File Handler 5.0, is now tested and available for wide-scale commercial intranet usage.  In addition to serving as a stand-alone product, filehandler.com can also work in tandem with File Handler 5.0 through the use of a common database, thus providing scalability through the unique combination of both internet and client-server technology.
