St. Louis, MO – August 29, 2007 – JW Software, Inc. a leading provider of claims administration software and services, announced today that the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund (MAIF) licensed FileHandler, JW’s Browser Based claims administration solution. MAIF will use FileHandler to manage their day-to-day automobile claims operations.

“MAIF selected FileHandler for its robust functionality and its demonstrated ease of use. The obvious willingness of JW Software to customize some of the modules to fulfill MAIF-specific requirements for several features such as subrogation, payment processing, and reporting, also persuaded us to choose the FileHandler product. We are looking forward to implementing our new claims system.” said Cindy Hughes, Director of Information Technology at Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund

FileHandler’s browser-based design provides a variety of benefits that directly result in increased productivity and more efficient claims processing. The system will provide MAIF and its staff of over 250 claims handlers a host of benefits including accessibility to remote employees via the Internet and/or Intranet without support required at the desktop. More than 100 organizations use FileHandler, creating a large user community throughout the United States.
