With version 5.0, STARS users can expect faster performance and a more user-friendly format than in earlier versions. In addition to the already powerful reporting capabilities of STARS, version 5.0 offers 10 new custom report templates and a new module called Report-O-Matic. Report-O-Matic allows users to easily design and run their own custom reports.

STARS 5.0 has been designed with a new open architecture that allows seamless integration with other programs, called plug-ins, which are customized for each organization. The open architecture also permits simpler unions with third-party software. STARS plug-ins and easily accessed third-party software combine to form a completely customizable risk management solution.

Another addition to STARS 5.0 is increased international functionality, including multi-language support and full Euro compliance. Values data can be stored in different currencies and then converted to a single currency at any time. This feature is particularly useful to organizations with multinational locations and global data collection needs.
