Valley Oak Systems’ VOS Portal Selected By California State University Risk Management Authority as Their New Claims Administration Software

administration software, services, and support, has completed implementation of VOS Portal
with California State University Risk Management Authority (CSURMA). Employing the
application service provider (ASP) model, the software and database will be hosted at
Valley Oak Systems allowing CSURMA to have Internet access and portability, important
factors to meet their business requirements. Affirming the proven track record of Valley Oak Systems with public entities, Charlene Minnick, Director, Systemwide Risk Management of CSURMA said, “after researching competing products and reviewing the demonstration, the functionality and system flexibility of VOS Portal met CSURMA’s complex needs”. Full functionality of VOS Portal is maintained with the ASP model and eliminates the need for internal support for a database server and a physical database. About VOS Portal VOS Portal is a claims administration system for multiple lines of insurance. The system is highly configurable so that VOS Portal can be tuned to meet any organization’s needs. The base system includes diary (claim & user oriented), notepad, payment processing, reserves, litigation, medical management, correspondence, reporting, work status, and vendor tracking.
