Acordia using Web system for certificates

CHICAGO-Acordia Inc. recently entered into an agreement with San Diego-based ConfirmNet Corp. that will allow Acordia to provide its commercial clients with online certificates of insurance.

The agreement provides Chicago-based Acordia's multiple branch operations with a subscription to CertificatesNow, ConfirmNet's online insurance certificate service.

"This is another example of bringing valuable service resources to our clients in an effort to go beyond the typical broker commitment of insurance-related services," Charles L. Ruoff, senior vp and chief marketing officer of Acordia, said in a statement.
